Business Administration

Midway University's business programs develop 21st-century organizational leaders who are problem-solvers.

As a business student in one of our programs, you can prepare for a leadership role by developing your management skills to identify and analyze economic, multicultural and international issues as they relate to your field of study. You will also have the chance to master skills in the areas of leadership, team building and human relations.

Proof of your accomplishment comes from completing the capstone project and producing a professional portfolio. The portfolio includes documentation of course accomplishments and a comprehensive resume/organizational entrance plan or an entrepreneur business plan.

You can earn your Associates in Business Administration at our Midway campus or Online. You can earn your Bachelor in Business Administration through our Lexington campus, our Midway campus or Online.

  • Associate of Arts in Business Administration

    Our Associate of Arts degree program students are exposed to the essential building blocks of Business Administration, including communications, accounting, marketing, legal and computer applications. Upon graduation, students will have the business background to pursue entry-level positions or continue their education at Midway University to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.

  • Bachelor of Business Administration

    Our Bachelor of Business Administration degree program students benefit from all coursework associated with the Associate of Arts degree program, in addition to having the opportunity to master skills in the areas of leadership, team building and human relations. A special concentration in accounting can help prepare students for a variety of careers.

    Students learn the unique requirements associated with their concentration, including leadership, management, quantitative analysis and strategy. Business students also develop their abilities to identify and analyze global economic, multicultural and international issues.

    To prepare for the business world, every student in our Bachelor of Business Administration program creates a portfolio featuring accomplishments, a comprehensive resume, and an organizational plan or entrepreneurial business plan. Opportunities may also exist for job shadowing, internships, mentorship, job fairs and job search seminars.
